Plant Water Grow

When attempting to make an idea visible, I learned to first define but then redefine seeing. There’s no one way to look at things, and in this piece, I present 50 ways to see “Growth” using seed packets.

In order to see what a thing is, we have to look at it up close, far away, from a bird’s eye, from the ground, under water and in many other ways. Not only was I to come up with 50 ways to see “growth,” I needed to present them through a creative, original and organized concept.

I focused on plants and how all plants originate from seeds. That led to the idea of designing 50 seed packets (each having a unique image of growth) that can turn into planters for the seeds; allowing for growth and further emphasizing the idea.
